New Roles For Niall Quinn and Alan Quinlan With Tipperary GAA's Commercial Board

Former Munster rugby player Alan Quinlan and former Irish international footballer Niall Quinn will both sit on a newly established commercial board for Tipperary GAA.

The new programme was announced by Tipperary today with the intention of supporting the ongoing fundraising efforts of the County Board.

One of the main tasks being undertaken by the Board is a fundraising effort to secure the funds needed to support the ongoing strategic development of the Tipperary senior hurling team under Liam Sheedy’s management.

The board will be chaired by Declan Kelly, Chairman and CEO of Teneo.

The board's first event will be a celebration of Tipperary Hurling in the Mansion House, Dublin, on April 10th. The dinner will be a celebration of the 27 All Ireland Hurling Championships won by Tipperary throughout the years, with eight living captains being honoured on the night. Special guests include Pat Shortt and Brian O'Driscoll.

Former Ireland back-row Quinlan is from Tipperary while Nial Quinn is a keen GAA enthusiast having played for Robert Emmets as well as for Dublin underage in both hurling and Gaelic football.
