Sixmilebridge's Derek Fahy decided something drastic was needed during their defeat to Na Piarsaigh last Sunday. At 13 points down, he decided enough was enough. He caught the ball in his goalmouth, put the head down, and hared out of his goal.

Pedant that he is, the ref noticed that he might have taken more the regulation number of steps allowable. After about 17 steps he remembered he needed to use the hurl at some point and hastily dropped the sliotar onto it. By then, alas, it was too late.
