RIP Owen Roe McGovern

News reaches us that Owen Roe McGovern, the last living member of the great Cavan All-Ireland winning team from 1947 and 1948 has died in New Jersey. McGovern started against Kerry at the Pologrounds in '47 (watch highlights below) and came on as a sub in the '48 match. McGovern co-owned a pub in New Jersey after his playing career. He was 93.
