Something is very wrong in the world of Irish fashion. The shortlist for the 2013 Most Stylish Man at the VIP Style Awards is out, and Ireland's most notable fashionisto Paul Galvin is not on the list. Many sportsmen have been included on the shortlist - Jamie Heaslip, Tommy Bowe and Bernard Brogan - but Galvin has been inexplicably omitted.

The shortlist is:

  • Tommy Bowe
  • Bressie
  • Bernard Brogan
  • Jamie Heaslip
  • Darren Kennedy
  • Eoghan Murphy TD
  • Daithi Ó Sé
  • Killian Scott

There's two conclusions to draw from the list: Galvin is now no longer the most stylish man in the GAA (B. Brogan now holds that crown) and Galvin is now no longer the most stylish man in Kerry (this is not much of a claim, but being gazzumped by Daiti feckin' Ó Sé will no doubt sting.)

One can only assume the overgrown beard in last month's League match did him no favours.
