Charities are among the many organisations hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic with the holding of fundraisers not possible due to social distancing measures.

One fundraiser which had proved hugely successful over recent years was the Síle Callinan Memorial 7-A-Side Ladies Football Tournament.

Síle Callinan died of Cystic Fibrosis in 2017 aged just 26. Her family, and fiancé Michael Talty, launched the event to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis charities.

To date, the tournament along with other local fundraisers, have raised over €60,000 to help those living with the condition.

Unfortunately, this year's tournament had to be cancelled due to Covid-19. Determined to continue raising money for the cause, organisers instead launched a virtual fundraiser: #ChangeYourColoursForCF

Numerous Gaelic games figures, including Andy Moran, Kieran Donaghy, Lee Chin and Joe Brolly have supported this year's fundraiser.

Getting involved, and donating money to the Clare Cystic Fibrosis Support Fund and The Julian Benson CF Foundation, is easy.
