Armagh hurling keeper, Simon Doherty, will manage against his own team this weekend.

Doherty is also the Ulster University Jordanstown manager. In the opening game of the McGurk Cup this weekend, he will be on the sideline for Jordanstown as they play Armagh.

"It’ll be an interesting one," Doherty told Jerome Quinn.

"I'm really looking forward to the game on Saturday.

It’s interesting coming from both camps, we’re actually heading to training this evening and I’m training with Armagh tomorrow evening, so I’m sure I’ll get a bit of stick one way or another.

Some of the Jordanstown guys actually said, 'I hope you are playing so we can get a good go at you', but I’ll be on the sideline for Jordanstown on Saturday.
