It's incredible to think that since 2001, the last time Meath last reached an All-Ireland final, the Royals have only had one single All-Star. And now they have to plan without him from this season on.

Meath GAA have confirmed that Stephen Bray, who was included in the 2007 All-Stars, has called it a day at the age of 33. The Navan O'Mahony's forward remained an important member of Mick O'Dowd's squad for the 2015 Championship season but the somewhat ignominious defeats to Westmeath and Tyrone will now go down as the end point of Bray's stellar Meath career.
