16 years in a foreign land will do weird things to your accent.
Case in point: Tadhg Kennelly.
The Listowel man - who first moved to Australia when joining Sydney Swans in 1999 - was interviewed by RTÉ's Damien O'Meara before the fourth quarter in Saturday night's EirGrid International Rules game at Croke Park.
Kennelly, part of the Australian backroom team, flitted between an accent which sounded 25% north Kerry, 25% Roy Keane and 50% Australian.
It left many simultaneously amused and bemused.
