The Dublin Hurling Championship Produced An Eye-Watering Scoreline This Week
By Balls Team

As one of our cutting edge hurling pundits might put it, you can't be conceding 17 goals in a hurling match and expect to win the game.

Parnells did just that against Ballyboden on Tuesday. Their own score of 0-6 looks paltry by comparison.

To their credit, Ballyboden's points tally exceeded even their number of goals. 17-19. A 64 point win. It may never happen again. We should say that this was a Junior C game and not a senior affair.

This is the point where one is supposed to put up a Simpsons video in which a character called random child wails that the victim of a frenzied attack was already dead.

But we will not do that. Fair play to Ballyboden. Keep on rocking. You can't win by enough.
