There will be no disciplinary action taken against the player responsible for inflicting the injuries suffered by Davey Byrne ahead of the Dublin-Armagh behind closed doors challenge match last Thursday.

A largescale brawl erupted before the throw in, during which Byrne suffered a fractured eye socket and a broken nose. He spent two nights in Beaumont hospital recuperating from his injuries.
