We don't think that all goalkeepers are mad. Stephen Cluxton, for example, seems like the most normal man on the planet. Armagh's Paul Courtney, however, just might be. He made his Championship debut against Cavan this afternoon, and decided to make the most of by spending most of it acting as an outfield player. First of all, he went all Ricardo-against-England-in-Euro-2004 by not bothering to wear gloves.

Not content with this, Courtney then decided to go wandering, ending up absolutely miles from his goal in the first half:

He did this again in the second half, only to end up hurting his knee. Ger Canning revealed on commentary that Courtney plays  in midfield with Queens University in Belfast.

Away from that, his kick outs were largely a disaster, as Armagh fell to a heavy defeat to their Northern rivals: 2-16 to 0-14.
