Killarney councillor Niall 'Botty' O'Callaghan's name has been dragged through the mud after he was falsely identified on a website by a person as having been involved in sexual activity with others in his own hotel last weekend.

Killarney councillor, Niall Botty O’Callaghan - who is also maor uisce for the Kerry senior football team - was alerted by a friend on Tuesday morning that an anonymous text had been broadly circulated to journalists and politicians, claiming that his “name is ruined” as a result of comments posted on a UK and Irish website.
O'Callaghan says that he is now determined to clear his named following the false allegations made by the person who claimed to be a woman on the fabswingers.com site.
Gardai are also looking into the matter.
