Last week we brought you a rather funny video of a group of American gentlemen who present a podcast called 'Sportsball' on Rooster Teeth, a youtube channel which has over eight million subscribers.
In the video, all the usual foreign reactions to hurling were there, such as "Any sport with sticks is awesome" and "It's like adult quidditch" and the like, but one of them, a cocky little so-and-so by the name of Joel, also commented on how easy it looked, and how he thought he would be great at it.
The inevitable uppity Irish-backlash was swift and fierce, and as a result the Sportsball guys felt the need to issue an apology on RTE Radio One, and Joel has now been invited to put his money where his mouth is when the GAA All-Stars visit Texas later in the year.
Just as long as there's no running I'll be fine.
That was all well and good and despite the fact that the guys seemed to take some good old fashioned Irish indignation more seriously than they should have, we all had a good laugh but then things took a turn.
After moving on from the hurling fun, the Rooster Teeth guys moved on to the significantly more important fantasy football section section of the podcast. Unfortunately, it just so happened that the leader of their league is named Black 'n' Tan.
Poor Joel just couldn't help himself and came out with the ultimate foot in mouth sentence.
'Black 'n' Tan? I bet they're from Ireland'.
We're not entirely sure if Joel knew the significance of that sentence so we'll leave it up to you whether to inundate them with complaints.
