The Tipp Minor Captain Could Not Contain His Wild Glee Atop The Hogan Stand Steps

It's fair to say that Brian McGrath had reason to be cheerful. He had just captained Tipperary to a comprehensive All-Ireland minor hurling championship final victory over Limerick by 1-21 to 0-17 (that was not without its controversial moments) and it's fair to say we'll be seeing him in the blue and gold of the Premier County for a good few years in the future.

The brother of Noel and John McGrath, Brian could hardly contain his delight. Just look at the big happy head on him.
