It's fair to say that Brian McGrath had reason to be cheerful. He had just captained Tipperary to a comprehensive All-Ireland minor hurling championship final victory over Limerick by 1-21 to 0-17 (that was not without its controversial moments) and it's fair to say we'll be seeing him in the blue and gold of the Premier County for a good few years in the future.
