Dublin supporters have been frantically directing folk to the apparent precedent set by the decision to rescind Kevin Keane's red card from the Mayo-Donegal game it did not wash tonight.

The meeting was scheduled for tomorrow night but the Dubs were eager to have their case heard tonight.

Not all avenues have been exhausted. Connolly can still appeal the decision to the CAC (Central Appeals Committee) and, if that fails, there is still the DRA (Disputes Resolution Authority).

Mayo, meanwhile, have named an unchanged team for Saturday's replay, with Donal Vaughan retaining his starting berth despite being forced off early last Sunday after colliding with Jack McCaffrey.
