Unless it's a hurl bending over an opponent's head, there's little more aesthetically pleasing than seeing the moment a hurl breaks in the middle of a tackle. One part in hand and the other flying through the air like a young bird out of the nest for the first time.

Thurles' Michael Connors is the player who was in need of a new hurl however, he probably won't mind too much given that he and his Thurles teammates ran out 2-12 to 1-12 winners on Saturday afternoon.
