Donaghmore/Ashbourne retained their Meath Under 21 Championship on Sunday with a 1-14 to 2-7 victory over Skryne GFC.  With just over 10 miles seperating the two clubs, there's a bit of a rivalry between them. A rivalry which was captured perfectly by what happened during the game.

There's an old GAA saying - ''there'll be skin and hair flying''. That was literally the case for Donaghmore/Ashbourne's right half forward Kevin Fenton. He ended up a bit worse for wear as team mate Dylan Brady showed on Facebook.

During a scramble Fenton was inadvertently trodden on by Skryne keeper Dean Reddy. JESUS CHRIST LOOK AT THE MAN'S EAR.

While that is obviously extremely painful looking, Fenton was still able to join his team mates to celebrate Don/Ash's second consecutive Championship.
