Once again, Kerry did just enough to avoid relegation and no more after drawing in Omagh yesterday.

Tyrone's alleged negativity over the course of the League, particularly in Castlebar and Croke Park, enraged the purists and prompted Joe Brolly to call for Mickey Harte to be sacked.

But Declan Bogue tweeted out a statistic which challenges the tired notion that Ulster is the source of all the evils in the game and simultaneously implies that Kerry and assorted non-Ulster counties benefit from favourable coverage.

Brolly wasn't long latching on.

One twitter user (sardonically) asked for Bogue to refrain from tweeting such blasphemy.

One Kerry supporter had another explanation for the damning statistic.

Brolly dismissed that complaint.
