We live in the era of the sporting montage, an era kickstarted, many believe, by RTE's post-2002 World Cup montage, featuring the song 'Just a Day' from Feeder accompanied by Jim Beglin talking about big toe areas.

If the Jacob's Awards were still going, they'd have to have a category for Best Sporting Montage. (The awards were discontinued in 1993 presumably because Marian Finucane could no longer fit all hers in her house).
