Last night in Australia, one of the the highlights of the Aussie Rules season took place with the awards ceremony to present the Brownlow Medal to the AFL's Player of the Year.

It was also the first time the Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award was given out, with Stynes' brother Brian presenting the award to Daniel Jackson.
Broadcaster Channel 7 also made this moving tribute to the AFL Hall of Famer who sadly passed away in March.
