No one does charity like the GAA. In the latest move, local Limerick clubs were raising money by running at the Limerick races.

Needless to say it was a eventful race, with a seemingly unassailable lead getting reduced until some final drama in the last few steps.

Despite all of the goings-on, no one seemed to tell the commentator:

That's quite a lacklustre commentary effort too. My stereotypical horse racing commentator would be shouting and screaming at horses as if he was in their ears, in a manner that gets you off your seats. But this guy seems like he's almost asleep.

It's nothing like the commentary at the Irish Universities Athletics Association's track and field championships.
