We'd like to apologise profusely to this Mayo fan if he is not actually from Italy but he's speaking Italian so we thought that was sufficient run with it. We say he's from Italy but in reality, he's obviously Mayo through and through because the passion in his voice only comes from over half a century of waiting for an All Ireland title.
And while we can't get on board with this filming live sporting events carry on, we'll certainly give it a pass this time.
We've enlisted the help of a translator and he's given us a play by play of this individual's wonderfully passionate running commentary.
The vast majority of what he's saying involves the word die. Only it's not actually die it's more like 'dai', an Italian version of g'wan. For example, 'Die kill yon' is 'g'wan Cillian'.
