How to watch Kerry v Louth?

Unfortunately, Kerry v Louth won't be broadcast or streamed for viewers making it the only round-robin game not to be shown this weekend. While the game won't be on TV, Radio Kerry Sport will have coverage of Kerry v Louth.

What's at stake?

The stakes for Louth are simple, they must beat Kerry if they're to qualify. A win against Kerry would guarantee them at least third place and be enough to get them into a preliminary quarter-final.

On the other hand, a draw or win for Kerry will guarantee them a spot in at least the preliminary quarter-finals. However, should they lose to Louth and Mayo beat Cork, either Kerry or Cork will be eliminated on points difference. Finally, should Kerry lose and Cork beat Mayo, Kerry will be eliminated from the Championship.

Form Guide

Recommended

Kerry are one win and one loss for two games. They suffered a humiliating five-point defeat to Mayo in Killarney in the opening game of the series before beating Cork by two points in the second game. While they are still well up there with results, their form has left plenty to be desired, with Jack O'Connor's men underwhelming in their loss to Mayo and arguably worse in their win over a weak Cork team.

Louth on the other hand, are two losses from two, however, Mickey Harte's men faired much better than anyone could've predicted in both games. They lost to top-of-the-table Mayo by just a single point and Cork by a mere two points. While their chances of beating Kerry are slim, they're clearly not as far off as many would've thought.

Despite Kerry's form and Louth's close calls, Kerry are still the obvious favourites, anything but a comprehensive win for the Kingdom would be the biggest upset in this GAA season and a catastrophe for Kerry.
