Yesterday was arguably the most exciting day of gaelic football in the calendar year yet so many of the amazing moments were lost forever to posterity because of the failure of the GAA's broadcasting strategy. One moment that seemed certainly lost was Mickey Quinlivan ripping the hearts out of Armagh with a last ditch goal to send Tipp into Division 2. Armagh and Tipp played out what was essentially a promotion playoff in the Athletic Grounds yesterday afternoon. Tipp looked dead and buried, until Quinlivan completed his hat-trick on the death.
