An exciting addition to EA Sports FC 24 has been announced this afternoon, with UEFA Euro 2024 set to be added to the game in the months ahead.
The showcase event in European football, Euro 2024 will take place in Germany next summer. A total of 24 teams from across the continent will take part, with 20 of those already qualified. The remaining four spot will be decided by a round of play-offs in March.
Gamers will also have the opportunity to play their own part in the tournament, with the event set to be added to EA Sports FC 24 in the new year. It will be available as a free in-game add on in the summer of 2024.
However, we won't have to wait that long to get some Euro 2024 content in the game.
That is because all players who play EA Sports FC 24 before January 16th will be granted a free untradeable Ultimate Team player item, with some of the biggest names at Euro 2024 up for grabs.
From December 18th onwards, every qualified game will be granted one of the following Ultimate Team player items:
- Jack Grealish - England
- Ousmane Dembélé - France
- Federico Chiesa - Italy
- Florian Wirtz - Germany
- Virgil Van Djik - Netherlands
- Alvaro Morata - Spain

In a statement, EA Sports summed up what is coming to the game over the coming months.
Coinciding with the tournament kick-off, UEFA EURO 2024 will arrive in-game as a free update to all EA SPORTS FC 24 players across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Fans who play EA SPORTS FC 24 by January 16, 2024 will be granted one of Europe’s biggest stars as an exclusive, untradeable Ultimate Team Player item starting on December 18.
Gamers will certainly be looking forward to taking part in Euro 2024 on EA Sports FC 24 later next year, with the untradeable player items sure to whet the appetite for the tournament in Germany next summer.
