The EA Sports FC 24 Champions League team of the group stages is here and, though there are some outstanding cards throughout the team, two stand out to us as particularly mouthwatering prospects.

With the last 16 of European football's top club competition decided, EA Sports have presented the Ultimate Team selection for the 17 best players from the group stages - with three from the Europa League and another from the Europa Conference League thrown in.

EA Sports FC 24 Champions League Team of the Group Stages revealed

Kylian Mbappé leads the line as the highest-rated player among the EA Sports FC 24 Champions League team of the group stages, with a +2 upgrade on his standard card to 93, with eye-watering 98 pace and 92 shot ratings making him an even better asset than he would regularly be.

There are some other huge names in there too. The pace of Rafael Leao's card (88 OVR), the well-roundedness of Julain Alvarez (also 88 OVR), and the sheer brilliance across the board of Antoine Griezmann (90 OVR) make them all hugely enticing to chase on Ultimate Team.

But, for us, two cards stand out as outstanding. The first of these is Arsenal's Bukayo Saka.

The English winger was initially rated 86 overall on this year's game, with standout ratings of 85 pace and 87 dribbling. The upgrades to Saka's card from the Champions League group stages are remarkable, seeing his pace rating climb to 92, and his dribbling to 94! His overall rating of 91 on the right wing makes his TOTGS card mouthwatering.

Similarly sensational is his compatriot Jude Bellingham, whose sheer brilliance across the Champions League group stages has seen him burst instantly from "future prospect" to being one of the very best players in the world.

The 20-year-old Real Madrid midfielder is rated 89 in the TOTGS, climbing +3 from his base rating on the game, and he will slot right into a La Liga or England-centric team.
