With just over two months until FIFA 23 is released, EA Sports have announced that Italian giants Juventus will return to the game for the first time since FIFA 19.

Juve have gone by the name of Piemonte Calcio in the last three editions of FIFA due to the Turin based club striking up a deal with EA Sport's main competitors Konami

EA Sports FIFA tweeted this video on Monday afternoon, welcoming Juventus back to the game with former player Claudio Marchisio narrating over the announcement.

Marchisio says in the trailer for FIFA 23:

"They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, but it's time to reconnect our worlds. From a distance we heared your voices call and here we are together again on the same path. We've been home to a plethora of greats but it's our future that now lights up the stage. New legends will be born, like the heroes before them. Writing the stories on their own empty page. The hearts of our fans will always beat loud in our stadium. We've welcomed many through those black and white doors and as a new chapter starts, old friends reunite. The Bienconeri returns to its throne. Juve, a story of great love, Juve Forever."

EA Sports will now become Juventus’ exclusive Sport Video Gaming Partner, with the club's stadium, kits and crest all returning this year. Claudio Marchisio will be introduced as the latest FUT Heroes card while striker Dusan Vlahovic will join the likes of Vinicius Jr, Trent Alexander Arnold and Kylian Mbappe as a FUT Ambassador for FIFA 23.
