We're at that stage of the year where FIFA 22 isn't as appealing as it was six months ago. With the Team of the Year cards released months ago and gamers likely completing most that the game has to offer, there's not much left to be excited about in the game. Thankfully, news has leaked about FIFA 23 and it looks like PSG star Kylian Mbappe will be the highest rated player in the game.

For years, FIFA ratings have been dominated by Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, but it looks as if it will be the first FIFA since 2007 that one of Messi and Ronaldo won't be the highest rated.

The last players to take the honours of best rating were Wayne Rooney and Gianluigi Buffon, who both had a 92 rating in FIFA 07.

This year, Kylian Mbappe has reportedly been given a 92 rated card, one higher than the likes of Mo Salah, Karim Benzema, Kevin De Bruyne and Robert Lewandowski.

Reliable FIFA source FUTZONEFIFA claimed to have an exclusive earlier today along with the new ambassadors for FIFA 23.

FIFA ambassadors are popular players used by EA Sports to promote the game with their images featuring on packs, game mode screens and the FIFA cover.

Ambassadors change over the years but just one of last year's ambassadors, Christian Pulisic has been replaced. The USA wideman is replaced by two Real Madrid stars, Eduardo Camavinga and Vinicius Jr, with Alphonso Davies also becoming a new FIFA ambassador.

Davies is a regular FIFA streamer on Twitch so this partnership will likely continue deep into the future.

Premier League starts Trent Alexander-Arnold, Phil Foden and Heung Min Son all return as ambassadors for FIFA 23 along with David Alaba and Kylian Mbappe.

With just over two months remaining until FIFA 23 is released, it's expected that EA Sports' final game with FIFA will come out on Friday the 30th of September.
