This year's edition of FIFA Ultimate Team will bring with it a number of exciting new features, but one of the most exciting additions to the game mode will be EA FC 24 Evolutions.
With the release of EA Sports FC 24 coming later this week, gamers are already wondering how to make the most of this new UT feature.
Evolutions was announced by EA Sports earlier this year, with the change being something that FIFA fans have been calling out for for quite some time.
With the web app for this year's title now in operation, people will already be looking to get start on their squad building, with Evolutions sure to play a major part in that.
In past editions of the game, the Ultimate Team player items you used soon after the released would quickly be discarded as the quality of your squad improved. However, Evolutions will allow some select player items to go on that journey with you, improving their stats as they complete objectives on the pitch.
While you wait to save up for some of the best players in EA Sports FC 24, this will be one way to build up the strength of your team. Here's how it will work.
EA FC 24 Evolutions Explained
FC 24 Evolutions will allow you to upgrade stats of a selected by completing various on-pitch objectives.
Each Evolutions path will be available for a limited time only, being linked to the seasons in Ultimate Team.
You will not need a special player item to use as part of this. Any player item that fits the criteria laid out in the game can be used. For example, in the 'Founders Evolution', you can use any player with the following stats:
- OVR: Min. 75
- OVR: Max. 83
- Pos: ST
- Rarity: Rare
- PAC: Max.91
- DRI: Max. 83
- PHY: Max. 85
This striker will see then their base stats increased if you complete objectives such as appearing and scoring in squad battles games. The first upgrade available will see the player's pace, dribbling, shooting, and physicality all increased by three points.
You can also change the positions of players as part of FC 24 Evolutions, while the brand new PlayStyles+ can also be added to the player item.
It is expected that you will then be able to upgrade that card further as we progress through the various 'seasons' in FC 24 Ultimate Team.
Other FC 24 Evolutions path available are 'Welcome to Evolutions', 'Pacey Protector', 'Relentless Winger', 'Golden Glow-Up Pt 1', and 'Golden Glow-Up 2'.
