With the end of the FIFA as it became EA FC 24 this year, it felt as though there was a change of winds for gaming coming for the next generation. However, after the return of the original Fortnite last week, there is more great news for XBOX and Playstation fans everywhere. After ten years, Rockstar have officially announced the release of Grand Theft Auto 6, with a trailer coming in early December, via their Twitter account.

Rockstar, the creators of famous franchises such as Red Dead Redemption and Midnight Club as well as Grand Theft Auto, wished to thank their loyal fans as they stated,

"Next month marks the 25th anniversary of Rockstar Games. Thanks to the incredible support of our players worldwide, we have had the opportunity to create games we are truly passionate about. Without you, none of this would be possible, and we are so grateful to all of you for sharing this journey with us.

In 1998, Rockstar Games was founded on the idea that video games could come to be as essential to culture as any other form of entertainment, and we hope that we have created games you love in our efforts to be part of that evolution.

The release of a brand new GTA has brought about an unprecedented excitement for players around the world and the social media reaction did not disappoint.
