Hogwarts Legacy finally hit stores over the last week, with the game set to become one of the most successful titles of 2023. Gamers across the globe are already getting stuck into what Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has to offer, with no shortage of quests to keep us entertained. One of the ones people are having trouble with is the Hogwarts Legacy cursed tomb treasure, so here are some hints to help you out.
Hogwarts Legacy Cursed Tomb Treasure Solution
The Hogwarts Legacy cursed tomb treasure side quest has been a struggle for a number of players, although the solution is actually reasonably straightforward.
YouTube channel 100%Guides has a good walkthrough available here, but we will summarise the quest for you below.
In order to unlock this side quest, your witch or wizard will have to reach level 24 and finish the quest which sees you unlock The Helm of Urtkot. As well as this, you will have to possess the ability to unlock level 3 doors using Alohomora Level 3.
Once that is out of the way, the 'Cursed Tomb Treasure' quest will appear on the south of the map.

Just after entering the cave, you will battle some spiders before encountering a butterfly door. You will find the first of the three butterflies to the left where you will use levioso on a box to lift you onto a ledge.
The other two are to the right of the door behind a spiderweb. You will need to use lumos to lure them towards you.
Next, you will find a floor puzzle.
You will need to useflippendo on the top middle tile, and the bottom corner tiles. The picture below provides an example.
Once this is completed, the chest below will be released to give you the prize within.
This one is pretty straightforward, although you will have to gain quite a few skills in the game before it is available to take on. Once you have done so, you should have no problems completing the Hogwarts Legacy cursed tomb treasure side quest.
