It has been officially confirmed that the eagerly awaited PGA Tour 2K25 will be released on February 28, 2025.

This new edition is set to elevate the golfing experience with enhanced gameplay features, refined mechanics, and impressive graphics, along with a broader array of licensed courses.

The cover art showcases golf icons Tiger Woods, Max Homa, and Matt Fitzpatrick, highlighting a star-studded cast for this instalment.

Players can pre-order the game in three distinct editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Legend, each offering exclusive bonuses and perks. The game will be accessible on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.

Building on the success of its predecessors, which transitioned from The Golf Club to the PGA Tour 2K series in 2020, this title aims to expand upon the solid groundwork established by earlier versions.

The development team at HB Studios has dedicated significant effort to this project, and after a three-year hiatus since PGA Tour 2K23, gamers are eager for new content.

This edition includes various cosmetic downloadable content (DLC), fittings, and a GT4 driver, while the Standard Edition will be available for €69.99.

PGA Tour 2K25 will feature 29 licensed courses at launch, including renowned locations such as TPC Sawgrass and Oakmont Country Club, with plans to add more courses like The Old Course at St. Andrews in future updates.

The game will also introduce 11 professional golfers, including Woods, Lydia Ko, and Brooke Henderson, with additional players expected to join post-launch.

Tiger Woods expressed his enthusiasm for the game, stating,

Some of my most iconic moments, unforgettable hole outs and dominant victories took place at the Majors. In PGA TOUR 2K25, players can step onto the tee box and create unforgettable moments as their customisable MyPlayers, my fellow cover athletes Matt Fitzpatrick and Max Homa, or even me.

The Course Designer mode will return, featuring new tools and surfaces that allow players to craft their own courses.

Enhancements in ball flight and roll physics, along with new shot types and character customisation options in MyCareer mode, are also anticipated.

As the gaming community looks forward to the release of PGA Tour 2K25, excitement is building, particularly with the promise of a more immersive and engaging golfing experience.

With the absence of the beloved Augusta National due to EA's exclusivity rights, players are keen to see how 2K will innovate and broaden the golfing landscape in this upcoming instalment.
