Question Marks Over The Authenticity Of PS5 Slim Leak

Yesterday a Twitter user by the name of @BwE_Dev shared a video showing the unwrapping of a shell of a possible new PS5 model.

The 3D printed object looks like a smaller version of the current PS5 model and BwE wondered whether it is a PS5 slim.

However, he also seemed unsure whether it was indeed slim enough to take that title.

Writing for Forbes, Paul Tassi echoed these thoughts and claimed that the model on show may be a real upcoming console, but that it is the design for a new console that has a detachable hard drive, rather than a PS5 slim.

The PS5 originally launched in November 2020, and is available in two different versions, the base and the digital model.
