Speed speed speed. That's the aim of the game in FIFA, if you can get away from everyone, you can score. Gamers don't have the patience to play tiki-taka , they want to hit a long ball and have their 'Speedy Gonzalez' run onto it and score. Fast players are some of the most valuable players in Ultimate Team too. So, it's pretty important to know who's the fastest players along with the actual rating.
Top 9 fastest players in FIFA 22
Cover boy takes the crown
FIFA 22 cover star Kylian Mbappé is the fastest player with a Pace rating of 97 on his base card. The French international has clocked in speed of over 36 km/h on plenty of occasions. After that Wolves winger Adama Traore and Bayern left-back Alphonso Davies are not too far behind Mbappé both have 96 pace. Traore was the fastest player in FIFA 21 but received a downgrade this year to 78 and missed out on retaining his crown.
There's actually a decent amount of Premier League representation in this top 9 with Leeds United's Dan James and Watford's Ismaïla Sarr join Traore on the list. The Welshman James has 95 pace while Senegal international Sarr has 94.
Kylian Mbappé's teammate Achraf Hakimi is also on the list with 95 pace. If PSG weren't already overpowered enough in FIFA this just makes it even more unfair on whoever has to play against them.
EA have also released some of other other fastest players in FIFA 22. They're not in the top 9 but players like Iñaki Williams, Moussa Diaby and Rafa have 94 pace and deserve a mention. Japanese winger Takeshi Kanamori is the lowest rated player on the list with a 64 rating. However, the right midfielder has 94 pace and will be able to keep up with the best of them.
The game is just around the corner now and gamers can't wait to get their hands on it.
