There have been some revealing new leaks regarding The Last Of Us Part Three, with additional info on its setting and new characters within the game.
The critically acclaimed series saw its last entry come out in 2020, before the release of the hugely successful TV adaption by HBO, which starred Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal.
Co-president of developers Naughty Dog, Neil Druckmann, gave an update in January on their other best-selling series Uncharted, and the possibility of The Last Of Us Par 3.
For us, Uncharted was insanely successful - Uncharted 4 was one of our best selling games - and we're able to put our final brushstroke on that story and say that we're done. We're moving on."
With The Last of Us, it's up to us whether we want to continue it or not... If we can't come up with something, we have a very strong ending with Part 2 and that will be the end.

We now have further info on the game, of a more concrete nature, with leaks of the new characters that the developers are apparently casting for:
- Lucas — An “affable” character who “develops a relationship with another young scavenger and will have a turn to show his dark side” (because it’s The Last Of Us and so of course we must see the dark side in everybody!)
- Mason — A former solder who must “choose between his loyalty to Ezra and the house” when Val gets put in charge.
- Val — The female leader of the group.
- Ezra — A guy who wants to take over the house from Val.
- Gracie — A young woman.
The plot of the game is also rumoured to take place in an abandoned house, that is home to a group of scavengers, in the middle of a ruined city.
No release date has been decided on, but it is unlikely that we will see a release within the next two years.
