Xbox Game Pass keeps gamers' libraries stocked up with both new releases and old classics, but it can also open eyes to some games you might have missed when they came out.

There are seven exciting new additions to come to the service over the next few months - and we have the lowdown on what to look forward to on Xbox Game Pass until the end of July.

Xbox Game Pass: The seven new additions to the catalogue

Need for Speed Unbound (Xbox Series X/S, PC, Cloud) - EA Play, June 22

The 2022 release mashed the driving elements players loved from previous Need for Speed games with a fun and innovative art style, which borrowed elements from graffiti art to give the game completely unique visuals.

The Xbox release got an average score of 77 from Metacritic, and this game could prove to be the perfect balance between thrilling driving action and exciting visual style for Game Pass members.

The Bookwalker (Xbox and PC) - June 22

A brand new release, The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales is an adventure game by DO MY BEST described as:

a narrative adventure in which you play as Etienne Quist, a writer-turned-thief with the ability to dive into books. Use your powers to journey between reality and book worlds, and steal legendary items like Thor's Hammer and Excalibur to restore your ability to write.

Bramble: The Mountain King (Xbox, PC, Cloud) - June 27

Another 2023 adventure game with a focus around Nordic myths lands on Xbox Game Pass this month.

Bramble: The Mountain King is available to play from Tuesday June 27, and allows the player to explore the land of Bramble on a quest to rescue their sister.

Its official description invites players to "traverse a wondrous landscape and survive deadly encounters with Bramble's many hideous creatures."

F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch (Xbox Series X/S, PC, Cloud) - June 27

FIST launched in 2021, and amassed an impressive Metacritic score of 80%.

It is described as:

a Metroidvania action game featuring exploration, intense combat and challenging platforming.

It follows the story Rayton, an anthropomorphic rabbit with a mechanical hand, through an uprising in a dystopian tech-fuelled world. Nuts.

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town (Xbox and PC) - June 29

The kid-friendly Story of Seasons is a farming game based in Mineral Town, which sees players attempting to restore an old farm to its former glory. It arrives on Xbox Game Pass at the end of June.

Arcade Paradise (Xbox and PC) - July 3

You can live out all yours 90s-nostalgia-fuelled arcade dreams in Arcade Paradise, which sees the player turning an old laundromat into a...well, an arcade paradise!

Sword and Fairy: Together Forever (Xbox and PC) - July 5

The last of this month's additions, Sword and Fairy is an English-language version of the ninth insallment in the beloved Chinese RPG series.

It received rave reviews when it released, and is well worth checking out when it drops on Xbox Game Pass in early July.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks - June and July 2023

Xbox Game Pass members can also avail of some rewards over the course of the next month. EA Play members can gain new skins and weapon charms for Battlefield 2042: New Dawn, while there are also upgrades in the Elder Scrolls Online and Hi-Fi Rush games available.

US members can sign up for a 90-day free trial to DC Universe, where thousands of classic DC Comics and graphic novels are supported by regular new releases.
