You may have seen already this morning that there are crazy people in this world that will do anything to retrieve things that the rest of us deemed lost in a watery grave. Added to that, you may have already known that Rory McIlroy is playing in the first big golf event this weekend, and isn't doing too well - based on where his 3 iron ended up after this.
See where I'm going with this?
It turns out that one of the patrons of the Blue Monster course in Doral, Florida where the current WGC championship is taking place decided to grab his scuba gear and fetch McIlroy's lost club. There have been no reports as to whether the club has been reunited with McIlroy, nor whether McIlroy will want to see it again after that shot.
We will peruse ebay with interest.
