The European Tour YouTube channel have been good enough to put together a little highlight reel featuring some of the luckiest shots ever seen on the tour to show this rings true for golf also.
It stars two Irish players, Darren Clarke and Graeme McDowell. Clarke's shot in particular is incredible. As the commentator suggests, it's as if there's an Irish man submerged in the water who pops it back to safety.
