Douchebag - it's a real American term. If you ever hear someone using it in this country (including American tourists) you're actually within your rights to give them a dig into their gut with the butt end of a hurley.

Fox Sports Carolina reporter, Aaron Cheslock, probably got the American equivalent of that (possibly a lacrosse stick) when he called the Deutsche Bank Championship the "douchebag championship" during a broadcast on Sunday.
