If you had an eye on Twitter during Paul Dunne's round at The Open yesterday then you may have spotted that he had a famous fan in one Joey Barton. As it turns out, Barton wasn't just cheering on Dunne because he was impressed with what he saw on the golf course.
The former QPR captain has a close connection to Dunne, in the form of the young golfer's brother David. David Dunne is the performance nutritionist at QPR and Barton is obviously buddies with him.

As it turns out, David is actually with his brother at St Andrews and Paul revealed on Newstalk Breakfast this morning that the nutritionist has been cooking him his meals to make sure he's properly fed and watered. So yes, Joey, those pancakes really are playing a role.
No matter what happens today, Dunne certainly has found himself a lot of new fans; Barton included.
