The JP McManus Pro-Am resumes at 7.30am tomorrow at Adare. Outside of the four majors this year, you could argue that the event in County Limerick has assembled the strongest field in all of golf in 2022. Ten of the top 12 players in the world feature this week.
The groupings for Monday and Tuesday's play were released on Sunday afternoon. There'll be fifty foursomes, including a group featuring three Westlife members, a group with three of Ireland's greatest jockeys and a group with John Terry and Kenny Dalglish.
Fresh off a trip to Croke Park, Limerick hurling fan Bill Murray features in the most A-list group of them all.
There are seven favourite JP McManus Pro-Am groups for Tuesday
- Danny Willett with AP McCoy, Mick Fitzgerald, and Johnny Murtagh
- Luke Donald with Shane Filan, Cian Egan, and Nicky Byrne
- Sam Burns with Bill Murray, Niall Horan, and Jamie Dornan
- Padraig Harrington with Kenny Dalglish, Alan Hansen, and John Terry
- Jason Kokrak with Matt Dawson, Niall Quinn, and Nick Faldo
- Rory McIlroy with Dan Friedkin, John Mahony, and Martin O'Neill
- Thomas Bjorn with Charlie McCreevey, Michael O'Flynn, and Keith Wood
The biggest names in Irish golf including Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Seamus Power, Leona Maguire, Graeme McDowell, and Padraig Harrington are all part of the field.
JP McManus Pro Am: The big names arrive
There was no shortage of star power on show at the first day of the event.

The JP McManus Pro-Am will take place over two days this week in Co. Limerick and will be broadcast on Virgin Media Two.
