Phil Mickelson had the overnight lead going into the final round of the US Open but once again he came up short, finishing second for the sixth time in his career. One moment when it looked like he might go an a charge was after this magnificent chip in for eagle on the tenth. Unfortunately this was to be the highlight of his round.
