Cameras Caught Brilliant Shane Lowry One-Liner After Nightmare Hole At JP McManus Pro-Am

There are no shortage of big names on show at this week's JP McManus Pro-Am. Ten of the world's top 12 players will showcase their talents at Adare Manor over the next couple of days.

While there will be plenty of options for golf fans to follow, Shane Lowry is sure to be among the most popular. The Offaly man is one of the most beloved sportsmen in this country and will draw quite a few interested spectators in Limerick.

Those who followed him over his first few holes this afternoon got a glimpse at both sides of his game. The Clara man would start strongly, birdieing two of the first four holes.

However, he didn't have such luck on the fifth hole.

Shane Lowry laughs at JP McManus Pro-Am nightmare

The first few shots from Shane Lowry on the fifth were excellent, giving him an opportunity for another birdie and a share of the individual lead.

Instead, his putting stroke would completely abandon him. Not only would he miss the short birdie putt, but he also made a mess of the equally handy par putt. Considering the low pressure environment he made the mistake in, he was more than willing to laugh at himself.

In fact, he would share an excellent one-line with the crowd afterwards.

Some man.

All of those who have made their way to Adare Manor seem to be thoroughly enjoying their time at the venue so far, with a crowd of around 40,000 expected for the first day of play.
