On the golf course, Shane Lowry is having a cracking week. His four under par opening round at Augusta was fantastic, placing him in a tie for second with Danny Lee behind the early leader and defending champion Jordan Spieth.

But that's not to say he doesn't have to deal with a couple of mistakes from the American golf establishment.

Fresh from google still thinking he's Australian, his post-round interview with ESPN's Tom Rinaldi didn't exactly get off to a great start.

Shane McLowry?

You've got to love the darting look from Lowry to the producer or whomever was standing behind the camera. A perfect mixture of 'You'd almost have to laugh at that' and 'Do I have to deal with this shite?'

No harm done of course but we all know well that it won't be too long until there's absolutely no chance of the American golfing crowd making those kinds of mistakes. Whisper it but green jacket would quickly sort it out. Best to watch the highlights of his round to remind us why we should all know that he's the Irish Shane Lowry from Clara, Co. Offaly not the Australian Shane McLowry.
