With the first Ryder Cup on the horizon since the untimely death of Seve Ballesteros last year, it has been expected that we will see numerous tributes to the Spanish legend throughout the week from the European side. European Captain Jose Maria Olazabal was one of Ballesteros' closest friends and they partnered each other on numerous occasions at the Ryder Cup winning 12 points together out of a possible 15.
The first of these tributes was shown today when it was announced that the bags the caddies will be carrying throughout the event will have an image of Ballesteros in a prominent position (as seen above on the bag of Captain Olazabal)
We expect to see more tributes throughout the week.
