Morgan Miller, a professional volleyball player was out playing golf with her husband Bode Miller, an Olympic gold medalist alpine skier, when he accidentally hit a golf ball directly into her face.
She still calls him her "darling husband" a tweet, so it appears their relationship is undamaged, unlike her face.
Her sense of humour remained unhurt though as she hit back at a tweeter for informing her that golf should be a men's only sport.
