Tiger had a tough finish to his opening round at the PGA Championship today with a double bogey leaving him 1-over par for the day, six shots off clubhouse leader Jim Furyk.

Woods' approach to the 18th fell short, catching a whole lot of turf in the process:

He landed in the rough in front of the green and his next attempt to hack it was eaten up by the bunker.

Again Woods was flush out of luck as his shot from the bunker left him with a lot to do on the green.

He still was left with a putt for bogey but it just wasn't to be for the pre-tournament favourite.

Tiger is now 10/1 to win the Championship while current leader Furyk is 12/1.
