The National Enquirer (not the most reliable source, but still) reports that Tiger Woods had an affair with Amanda Boyd, the ex-wife of 2013 PGA Championship winner Jason Dufner.
They say that this relationship was the reason for Woods breaking up with Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn. The two split back in May.
The Dufners also recently split with Amanda receiving $3 million in the divorce settlement.
A source told the Enquirer:
Even though Tiger dated Lindsey for years, he had a ‘thing’ for Amanda. At first, it was just innocent flirting, but earlier this year it became serious.
Amanda is gorgeous, and she’s known as a big flirt with the other players on the PGA tour. I guess her flirty ways and good looks caught Tiger’s eye.
Apparently when Dufner found out about the affair he was "devastated".
The US tabloid also say that Woods recently flew Boyd to Seattle while he was practising for the US Open.
Maybe a return to 'form' for Tiger in this aspect of his life will also mean the return of his golf game.
