Mikko Ilonen completed a solid week of golf at Fota Island to claim the Irish Open today. The Finn led the field after a stellar round of 64 on on Thursday and never gave up that lead to win by one shot on 13 under par. Graeme McDowell shot a final round 71 to finish three shots off the pace in a tie for sixth, but it seems G-Mac wasn't the only Irish man to pose a threat to Ilonen on the final day.

We have no idea what came across that young man's mind but thankfully it didn't effect the final placings as the incident was spotted and Ilonen was given a free drop.
