Rory McIlroy had a disappointing final round of the Tour Championship at East Lake as he finished three shots behind winner, Billy Horschel. The American also took the $10m on offer for winning the FedEx Cup for a total payout of $11.4 million yesterday.

McIlroy cited mental fatigue as being the reason for his poor final round. You wouldn't have thought he was suffering from that ailment if you were watching him warm up on the putting green though. The cameras caught the Irishman holing 55 consecutive putts.
Ridiculous consistency.
